GIR: GIR is a dysfunctional version of the Irken robots know as SIR (Standard Information Retrieval) units given to Irken invaders. In order to avoid wasting a functional SIR unit on Zim, GIR was constructed from junk parts found in a trash can. His personality is completely unlike that of the other robots, who are efficient and subservient, but rather goofy and childish, making him more of an nuisance than an actual helper. Zim blames him for most of the problems on the mission, regardless of whether or not it is his fault. GIR disguises himself by wearing a green dog suit which fools most humans despite looking practically nothing like an Earth dog. GIR takes a lackadaisical approach to life, mostly concerned with his squeaky toys, food (such as tacos, muffins, and waffles), the Scary Monkey Show, Piggy, cupcakes, the Crazy Tacoman, and television. However, he will still carry out Zim's orders, just not always in a way that pleases Zim or is even very coherent with what was actually asked.

My sister loves this character. She l00ks at tons of YouTube videos and images of this character because of how funny she thinks he is in the show.
