Zo-e patted Tam's back.

"Listen Zim, you have no reason to stay here with a couple of humans." Zo-e's eye slightly twitched a few seconds after she said that lie.

"You... you're lying to me! You're not human! And how do you know my name?! And Zo-e... I've heard that name somewhere."

Tam tried to stay silent. God she can be hyper at times.


Gaz walked in and sat next to Dib, quietly eating her lunch.
''Look at them, Gaz!'' Dib said. ''What would they be talking about?! And why is Zim with them?!''
Gaz grumbled, annoyed.

Zo-e looked at Tam nervously. "Uhhh.. I-I don't..." Zim unraveled every single clue until it came to this.

"You're the outlaw Tam! And you! Y-you're Tallest Zo-e!"

"I-I have no idea what you're talking about!"

"Yes you do, you liar! WithallduerespectmyTallest," he said quickly.

"You don't!... you're not!..." suddenly a gleam shined over Zo-e's eye.

"Why am I here talking with a useless pair of female humans?! Leave my sight!" He left.

Tam blinked, and looked at Zo-e. ''What was that all of a sudden?!'' She asked.

"I..." Zo-e blinked and rubbed her eyes. "... I don't know..."

''Weird...'' Tam said.
She glanced over to Dib's table, where Dib was still staring at them suspiciously (he always seems to have some kind of 'suspicious' look, no? XD; ).

She whispered to Zo-e. ''That guy's weird too, y'think he's an irken too? Or just suspicious?''

Zo-e's eyes gleamed again. Tam saw this time. "No..." she whispered. "... he's human... and suspicious."

Tam stared at what Zo-e did with her eyes, held her finger up to ask about it, but decided to stay quiet. She'd find out somehow anyway.

''Wonder how much he knows...'' She said.

"Not much," she said turning back to Tam. "He just saw and heard our whole conversation with Zim. Oh wait. That's much."

Tam slapped her forehead. ''Gah, we're screwed! ......unless.....''
''Just deny everything! DB'' She said quickly.

Dib stood up and walked towards them.

''Keep cool!'' Tam whispered.

"Okay, okay," Zo-e said and sat down casually.

Dib stood in front of the two, on the other end of the table.
''I heard you two talk to Zim!'' He said. ''You're Irkens! aren't you?''

''Umm....'' Tam hesitated. ''No we're not...''

''YES YOU ARE!'' Dib said. ''At least your disuises are better than Zim's....'' He mumbled.
Tam had to keep herself from laughing.

''Why are you here, anyway?'' He narrowed an eye and looked at them.

Zo-e, as a good actress, pulled off a scene.

"I don't get it. What are Irkens? Do you think we're aliens? You think we're ugly! That's hurtful." Zo-e said, tears actually falling from her eyes.

Tam gave Zo-e a thumbs up under the table.

Dib backed away a little, actually swallowing it. ''erm, no I didn't mean that... I....''

"Go away! You're mean!" Zo-e turned to Tam and fake cried in her shoulder.

Tam patted her on the back, making it look more believable.
''You heard her, get out!'' She said to Dib.

Dib looked confused and walked off mumbling a quiet ''sorry....''.

''That. Was. Awesome.'' Tam whispered to Zo-e.

"Thanks, unbelievable he bought it though." Zo-e raised her head up, wiping her eyes. She looked over to Dib and stuck up her middle finger.

Tam nudged Zo-e and laughed. ''Zo-eeee.''

Dib saw it and glared at them from the other table.

"He." Zo-e laughed and turned away from Dib, "So now what?"

Tam shrugged. ''I guess we just stay here and keep an eye on Zim for a while.'' She glanced over to Dib to make sure he wasn't listening.
''And we have to report to the tallests too, remember?'' She said, a little more quiet this time.

The bell rang and Dib stood up. He walked past their table glaring at them, before leaving.

Tam and Zo-e stood up as well. ''And we're gonna have to watch out for him, too.'' She said.

Zo-e and Tam walked. "I don't like him," whispered Zo-e. "But he just falls for things way too easily!" she laughed. She lowered her tone even more. "And Zim is so stupid, it's adorable."

Tam laughed. ''What is it with you and Zim?'' She asked, giggling.
''But seriously though...'' She looked at Zo-e. ''You do realize we have to keep a distance...?''
''Well.... until we completely blend in that is.'' She added.

They both walked back into the class and sat down.

When Tam asked the question about Zim, Zo-e scratched her head.

"Of course I know that," she said. "Distance is what saves everybody's ass."

They sat down. "And besides, I think we'll blend in perfectly," she said, putting her hands behind her head, crossing her legs. "Because every damn kid in this class is crazy."

Tam sat down and played around with her pencil. ''Yeah, exept that one kid.... Dib.''
''I mean, he's crazy, no doubt.'' She said, supressing a laugh.
''But he's different.... he'll find out soon.''

"Yeah," she replied. "But I won't let him, don't worry." She sat up straight. "I wonder how this 'skool' thing works. Think it's the same thing as the underground school on Irk?"
